Job Title: Tender Writer
Position Overview:

In conjunction with the tender production team, draft accurate and compelling tender documentation, manage the tender submission process and ensure tenders meet all submission requirements and are submitted on time.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Matric Pass
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Word and Excel at an Intermediate Level

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ proven experience in the tender writing field, ideally in the forensic investigation or legal services industry.

Requirements to be successful in the role:

  • Strong understanding of tender processes, procurement regulations, and contract management.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and professional tender documents.
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management abilities to handle multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with tender management software is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse tender requirements and collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand client needs thoroughly.
  • Develop high-quality tender documentation, tailored to each opportunity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and supporting documentation for tender submissions, conducting reviews for clarity and coherence.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of tender opportunities and outcomes for reporting and analysis, while monitoring progress and addressing queries during the tender process.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and success rates, while staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

  • Coordination Ability: Able to coordinate with internal teams for supporting documentation and tender submission requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Able to conduct thorough reviews of tender documents to ensure clarity, coherence, and compliance.
  • Database Maintenance: Able to maintain a comprehensive tender database for reporting and analysis.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proficient in monitoring tender progress, communicating with stakeholders, and addressing queries.
