Job Title: Senior Forensic Investigator
Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Forensic Investigator to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will lead a variety of investigations, focusing on fraud, corruption, and economic crime within diverse organizational settings. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in financial forensic environments, capable of managing complex investigations and delivering meticulous reports.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Matric Pass
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and/or Forensic Practitioner (FP)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Forensics, Law, Accounting or Data Analytics
  • Honours, Masters or PhD in an applicable field would be advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in a financial forensic environment
  • Demonstrated experience in people and investigation management at the senior investigator level
  • Strong MFMA and PFMA experience would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive investigations across private and public sectors, focusing on fraud, corruption, and economic crime
  • Collect and analyze evidence, employing a variety of forensic techniques and methodologies
  • Manage all aspects of investigations, from initial information gathering to the formulation and writing of detailed forensic reports
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams and law enforcement agencies, as required
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics in all investigative activities
